A guide to going to Church

Every year, many thousands of people become Christians. You may have decided to try going to church for the first time, or you may be trying St. Thomas's after a break from going to church, or you may be thinking of changing church due to a change in circumstances. Either way, we would love to meet you.

Going to church for the first time, or after a long break, can be a little daunting, but there is no need to worry. Everything at St. Thomas's is designed to make you as welcome as possible, and we are very used to seeing visitors in the congregation.

You may like to read some of the following articles which discuss the experiences of others all over the world who have tried going to church for the first time.
